Mr James Neffendorf performed pars plana vitrectomy surgery to improve symptomatic floaters in my right eye. The surgery was a success and I am so pleased and grateful to Mr Neffendorf for taking me into his care. Throughout the procedure, I was told what to expect during and after the operation. I was told of the risks associated with vitrectomy surgery so I was able to make the correct decision based on the information provided. I came to Mr. Neffendorf with a detached retina and he performed a vitrectomy the same day. Mr. Neffenforf was attentive and supportive before, during and after the operation. I was quite anxious but Mr. Neffendorf chatted to me in a calm friendly manner throughout the operation which helped me cope with the situation and the procedure seemed to be over in no time at all. First thing the following morning Mr. Neffendorf phoned me to check on my welfare and explained any queries I had.
